Description

Post mill shown on Hodskinson's 1783 map. Tower mill built on same site, on low mound, in 1839, demolished in 1949 (S1-S3). 1984 1:10000 map shows area of mound still separated from adjacent field.
Mound still surviving in 1985, also Preh flintwork & Med pottery adjoining - see (S4).
