Description

TM 35 NW PARHAM MAIN ROAD 7/153 Parham Old Hall 25.10.51 - II House. C16 with early C17 cross wing to north. L shape plan. Timber framed, part plastered, part roughcast rendered; pantiled roof. 2 storeys with attic to cross wing. Windows mainly mid C20 casements; the main range has 3 original mullion windows, one to the front and 2 to the rear; mid C20 door and porch to gable end of cross wing. Main range has internal stack with 4 hexagonal flues combined in sawtooth fashion, with moulded bases and caps; cross wing has external stack with 2 detached octagonal flues with moulded bases and caps. Interior with some good exposed timbering, original newel stairs and a 4-centre arch brick fireplace to first floor; fine exposed roof structure in attic of cross wing. Listing NGR: TM3046959872
