GV II
Barn. Early C18. Timber-framed and weatherboarded; clay pantiles. Full- height studding bisected by straight primary braces. 4 wide bays to frame, with another main post in the centre of each bay; straight tie-beams to trusses, with kneed and bolted braces. Roof with 2 rows of stepped butt- purlins and high collars; single curved windbraces in each end bay. The principal rafters are deep and narrow; there is no ridge-piece. Assembly marks to the collars and associated principal rafters.
