TM 37 NW LINSTEAD PARVA METFIELD ROAD 2/112 Elms Farmhouse GV II Farmhouse. Late C16. Timber framed and plastered, the left hand gable end rebuilt in red brick; plaintiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 3 cell form, originally with cross passage entry. Various mainly C18-C19 casement windows; lobby entrance with C19 4-panel door. Internal stack. Single storey colourwashed brick lean-to on right. The interior has fine exposed framing with closely-spaced studwork to the right hand cell. The original square- headed paired service doorways off the cross passage still survive.
