TM 26 NE SAXTEAD CHURCH ROAD 1/165 Beares - II Farmhouse. Late C16 or early C17. L shape plan with later service wing to rear. Timber framed and plastered, pantiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 3 cell plan. 4 window range, mainly C18 2-light and 3-light casements, one with the original square leaded glass; one large mid C20 casement window on the ground floor. Lobby entrance with modern half-glazed door; a further half-glazed door to the left hand side. Internal stack. Interior with exposed timbering and original newel stairs. Listing NGR: TM2590665595
