BRENT ELEIGH THE STREET 1. 5377 Outbuilding to "The Smithy" TL 9447 53/181 II GV 2. A timber-framed and plastered building probably C16-C17 and possibly originally a hall house. There is evidence of former high level windows. Formerly it was used as the smithy. Weatherboarded with a tiled roof. The interior has cambered beams and crown posts. Smoke blackened timbers.
