POLSTEAD BOWER HOUSE TYE 1. 5377 Bower House TL 94 SE 41/857 23.1.58 II 2. A C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered building with a tiled roof and a tall ridge chimney stack. A small wing extends to the north at the rear. Two storeys and attics. Three window range, mostly of C18 double-hung sashes with glazing bars. (The east range is now modern casements). A 4-panel door has a doorcase with pilasters and cornice. Listing NGR: TL9836640896
