Description
HIGH STREET 1. 5377 (West Side) Nayland with Wissington White Hart Hotel (formerly listed as White Hart Inn under Church Street) TL 9734 27/700 10.1.53. II GV
2. A C18 stuccoed front to an earlier timber-framed building. 2 storeys. 4 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A 6-panel door with a rectangular fanlight with radial glazing bars has panelled reveals, plain pilasters and a cornice hood. At the north end there is a carriage way with exposed timber-framing. Roof tiled. A room on the 1st storey has 2 C18 wall paintings, one has the figure of a lady in a landscape and the other the figure of Neptune.
