BRENT ELEIGH COCK LANE 1. 5377 Barn at Abbot is Hall TL 94 NW 36/170 II 2 A timber-framed and weatherboarded barn with a thatched roof. Probably of the C16. It has a wall plate with an edge halved scarf joint with bridled butts and face pegs. (Ref C A Hewett. "The Development of Carpentry 1200-17']0").
