TM 13 NW TATTINGSTONE OFF IPSWICH ROAD (A137) 4/117 (EAST SIDE) Cragpit Farmhouse II House. C16 or earlier with later alterations. Timber framed and plastered. Red plain tiled roof. Off centre left and left external red brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys. 3 window range of C20 casements. C19 gabled, timber-panelled porch on dwarf brick walls opposite chimney stack. Although most of the frame is covered by C18-C20 decoration the present owner has recently uncovered the 2 ground floor ceilings exposing heavy stop chamfered bridging joists and flat section ceiling beams. The chimney stack is large but blocked, with a C18/C19 marble fireplace in one room. Listing NGR: TM1334537859
