Description

HITCHAM Old Bloxhall House 1. 5377 TL 95 SE 33/369 II 2. A C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered building with a cross wing at the west end. Renovated. Refaced in modern brick and rendered. Two storeys and attics. Modern casement windows. The main block has one gabled dormer and a ridge chimney stack rebuilt above the original base. The cross wing has an internal chimney stack with 2 octagonal shafts and a modern lean-to addition on the south side. Gabled porch. Listing NGR: TL9724652573
