DRINKSTONE THE STREET TL 96 SE 1/22 Street Farmhouse 15.11.54 - II Farmhouse; late C18 or early C19 with core of C17 or earlier. Timber-framed and plastered with modillioned eaves cornice; an C18 gable to left, of flint rubble with quoins of red brick. Plaintiled roof with external end chimney of C18 red brick to left, and another to rear with rebuilt C20 shaft. Two C19 gabled casement dormers. Two storeys and attics. 3 windows. Early C19 small-pane sashes at ground storey; small-paned windows of 1986 at 1st storey. 6 panelled late C18/early C19 entrance door with fielded panels, shouldered architrave and triangular pediment. A lower service range to right of C19, plastered brick and plaintiled roof. Interior not examined. Listing NGR: TL9586062002
