Description

COMBS LITTLE LONDON, MOATS TYE TM 05 NW 2/77 Bluehouse Farmhouse GV II Farmhouse, not later than early C17, and possibly medieval hall range. Hall range and one cross-wing of c.1600 to left. One storey with attics. Timber- framed; the hall range has beaded C18 or early C19 weatherboarding, the crosswing is plastered with some C18/early C19 herringbone pargetting in panels at the gable and partially weatherboarded at the side. Thatched roof: one C19 plaintiled gabled dormer with undulating bargeboards and a small-pane casement. Two axial chimneys of red brick with C18 or early C19 shafts. Deep bargeboards with undulating soffit and spike finial at the gable. Early C19 small-pane casements. Early C19 6-panelled entrance door, the lower panels fielded, the upper pair glazed.
