Listed Building: GRANARY TO THE EAST OF WATTISFIELD HALL (281837)

TM 07 SW WATTISFIELD CHAPEL ROAD 3/92 Granary to the east of 15/11/54 Wattisfield Hall (formerly listed as Wattisfield GV Hall) II Granary, formerly with an open cart-lodge below. Early C17. Timber-framed core, lower outer walls of C20 brick: corrugated asbestos roof. Blocked upper windows and doorway; remains of outside stair. Interior with heavy plain joists and main beams to the ground floor; side purlin roof. 5 bays, including a narrow central bay with the joists at right-angles to the remainder. This building was entered in the previous list with the house as '5-bay timber and thatched barn'. Listing NGR: TM0081473850
