Barn, mid C17 with extensions of C18 and C19. About 8 bays. Timber-framed
and weatherboarded. Corrugated iron roof, formerly thatched. An original
gabled porch near east end of north wall. Interior ; primary braced
studding. Mind-braced clasped purlin roof. The easternmost bay was
originally partitioned off as stabling (the upper partition remains) :
stable doors in east gable. The barn was extended westwards in C18, and
the final western bay (on flint and red brick footings) was added in
early C19 with a lean-to roofed porch.
