Former farmhouse, probably C17. 2 storeys. 5 windows to main range; a
crosswing to left. Timber-framed and plastered. Plaintiled roofs. Two axial
chimneys of C17/C18 red brick. Mid C20 oak-framed casements with leaded
lights. Boarded and battened C20 entrance door with gabled timber porch. The
crosswing has evidence for a C17 2-tier side purlin roof. Interior not
examined. Associated with medieval moat.
