Description

HAUGHLEY WETHERDEN ROAD, HAUGHLEY TM 06 SW GREEN 4/119 - Green Farmhouse GV II Shown as Boggis's Farm on map. Farmhouse, probably c.1600. 2-cell lobby-entrance plan, with service wing at centre of north side forming a T-pan. 2 storeys and attics. Timber-framed and pebble-dashed. Plaintiled roof. Axial chimney of red brick with C17 saw- tooth shaft. C19 bargeboards with lobed and pierced tracery, and spike finial. Oversailing gable tiebeams. Mid C19 casements and gabled plaintiled porch at lobby entrance position, fully glazed with border panes, and panelled door. Interior not examined. Listing NGR: TM0270463714
