Description

CREETING ST. MARY LOW LANE TM 05 NE 4/61 Woolney Hall - II Farmhouse, c.1600. 3-cell lobby-entrance plan. 2 storeys and attics. Timber-framed and plastered with C20 pargetting in large panels. Plaintiled roofs, with axial chimney of red brick, probably C17 with C19 dentilled cap; an external C19 chimney of red brick to left. Mid C20 casements, those at ground storey having transomes. C19 doorway at lobby-entrance: C19 architrave with paterae, C20 glazed door. Some exposed unmoulded framing, and butt- purlin roof. A late C17 or C18 service wing to rear. Listing NGR: TM0989057702
