House. Probably C16 timber-framed core, now encased in mid C19
brick and extended. Slate roof. 2 storeys; 3-window south
front. Central 7-panelled door behind plain porch on columns.
One horned tripartite sash either side with 2/2 glazing bars.
Rendered lintels. 2 similar tripartite sashes first floor and
a 2/2 sash in centre. Hipped roof. Long east return in 4 bays
with mixed sashes and tripartite sashes as before. 2 gault
brick ridge stacks and a third on the west extension. North
gable end with exposed timber-frame above C20 ground-floor
additions. INTERIOR. Noted as having chamfered bridging beam
in north ground-floor room, and likely to be others.
