Description

GISLINGHAM MORLEYS LANE (SOUTH SIDE) TM 07 SE 2/55 Red House Farm House - II Farmhouse. Mid to late C18. Red brick. Hipped pantiled roof. 3 cell lobby entry plan. 2 storeys. Ground floor: entrance to left of centre with a part glazed door, flanking 3-light glazing bar casements, to right a blind opening, all recessed with gauged brick cambered heads. First floor two 3-light glazing bar casements, right bay blind opening. Continuous offset plinth, plat band and dentilled eaves cornice. Ridge stack to left of centre. To rear a catslide roof over original continuous lean-to outshut, a central entrance with a C20 open porch, flanking part opening part metal frame, 3- light casements. Right end 3-light casements, ground floor cambered head. Left end weatherboarded lean-to addition. Lean-to returns have hayloft doors, blocked to right, and parapets with tumbled-in brickwork, moulded kneelers to rear. Interior not inspected. Listing NGR: TM0745370617
