Former farmhouse. Late C16/early C17. 2 storeys: 3-cell lobby-entrance form. Timber-framed and rendered with slate roof. An internal red brick chimney- stack with sawtooth shafts on a square base. On the right hand side a lean-to extension across part of the front: a rusticated pilaster on the front wall may indicate an extension of the main house in conjunction with adding this lean-to. Two Edwardian 3-light windows to the ground storey, the casements reaching to ground level and a door in the centre, console-type brackets and projecting flat pediments above; 3 3-light casement windows to upper storey with a single bar to lights and reeded flush frames. Half-glazed double doors with flush panels within a heavy Tuscan portico.
