Description

TL 86 SW HORRINGER HORSECROFT ROAD 2/55 Horsecroft Hall II House, early C19. 2 storeys, 3 windows. Gault brick; slated hipped roof with gault brick axial chimneys. Windows with gauged brick flat arches and small- pane sliding sashes, ground floor windows set in shallow segmental-headed recesses. Pair of 3-panel entrance doors; oblong fanlight with radial glazing bars. 1-storey flat roofed entrance porch on Doric columns, glazed sidelights. Vaulted ceiling and spiral staircase of c.1800 in entrance hall. In the former kitchen a first floor structure of mid C16 ogee-moulded beams and joists, probably reused from demolished hall on adjacent moated site. Listing NGR: TL8424861822
