Description

TL 86 NEW FLEMPTON 4/33 - Flempton Hall - II House, C16 and C17. 2 storeys, 4 windows. Timber-framed encased in C19 gault brick. Clay plaintiled roof; gable and axial chimneys of red brick. Small- pane sash-windows with gauged brick flat arches. 1-storey entrance porch with flat roof; panelled door, oblong fanlight. Left-hand section of house rebuilt c.1700 in timber framing with brick gable end incorporating chimney. Axial chimney mid C16, with hall fireplace having jambs of reused limestone. Right of the stack, a C16 crosswing, hipped back C.1700. A C17 timber-framed and rendered rear wing on 2 storeys, hipped plaintiled roof and axial chimney stack; C19 casement windows.
