Description

Just over 2100m of stripped pipeline was monitored. While some evidence was located for prehistoric, Rom and Med activity, no archaeological sites meriting attention were noted. A metal detecting search was also conducted by local enthusiasts and this recovered one Rom coin and 2 early Sax brooch frags. Also bronze key (rom or med) and bronze buckle along the route. All finds unlocated within pipeline area.
