Description
2017 summary: This site is located to the south-west of the quarry. The majority of the area has been stripped for archaeological monitoring except for areas along the west edge, the north-east corner and along the east edge. The site has been subject to severe truncation, probably caused by recent agricultural practices by also possibly due to landscaping to create the original WWII airfield. Very little archaeology has been recorded at this site and this is probably due to the high levels of truncation (S1).
