Full Description

Watching brief on area being developed for housing for Bentwaters air-base. Site stripped of top-soil, sub-soil clayey sand. Thin scatter of small potsherds, 1 rim plus 6 body sherds, C13/C14, found in area defined on map. Houses being built on concrete rafts so little disturbance below sub-soil (S1). Also 2 ?Rom body sherds, PMed glazed body sherd and 14 worked flints - see Preh.
