Two undated ditches revealed during an archaeological evaluation

Excavation revealed evidence of activity dating from the Early Bronze Age to the postmedieval period and included significant Early Iron Age settlement remains.

TM 2827 4423 Belgic pottery (double-cordon bowls, butt beaker and storage vessels) found in digging graves on S edge of new extension to churchyard (formerly arable land) - graves of H C Leech 1978 and A E Edgar 1984 to 1985, aslo reports of a Roman pavement/mosaic seen in this area.

Ring ditch, one of pair (also WLD 019) approximately 200m SW of ring ditch WLD 008.
