Full Description
Small chapel adjacent to the north side of The Abbey Gate, outside the precinct wall, visible on a painting of 1785 of Mr Pools balloon, also visible on Warrens map of 1776, but missing from Lennys map of 1823 and Paynes map of 1834. The outline of the roof gable end can be seen on the west side of The Abbey Gate in a painting titled Bury Fair 1808.
