Archaeological evaluation and excavation revealed evidence of later prehistoric domestic activity

A ditch and several pits containing Later Prehistoric pottery and flint.

Later prehistoric features and two cremation pits at Kirtling Green to Wixoe Pipeline, Fields 4 & 5.

Evaluation identified a cluster of features at the southern end of the site, some of which were Bronze Age or Iron Age in date.

Bronze Age-Iron Age field system identified by ditches (north-south alighnment), and Medieval enclosures on a different alignment, associated with road frontage settlement activity.

Later Prehistoric field sytem and Roman Cremation on Land North West of Haverhill.

Evaluation identified a few sherds of medieval pottery were recovered from the topsoil.

Later prehistoric flints and a post-medieval wall footing identified during an archaeological evaluation.

Clear cropmarks of a group of small irregular enclosures, surrounding a possible structure. Roughly SW-NE alighnment.
