Finds reported (not seen) from this area include pottery (?Rom and Med?) and one silver penny, ?Henry I, in poor condition (S1).

1986: Fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey located 1 sherd Ipswich ware & 2 sherds Thetford type ware (& Med scatter), over 140m x 140m area, on "Field 326" (S1).

Smallish group of mainly C15-C16 pottery, with perhaps some C14, and 3 lava mill stone fragments found adjacent to a pond.

Late C13 to early C14 pottery from a large surface scatter, and a possible kiln wrapping (?) fragment (S1).
