Fieldwalking between circa 1971 and 1985 located large amount of pottery including large amount of Medieval and Post Medieval pottery and one green-glazed tile fragment (S1).

Scatter of pot over some 30m in small eroded 'bay' in river. River bank looks to have been eroded but also seems to have curved round, respecting this inlet. Track leads down to inlet and jetties present suggesting this has been used for launching/...

Evaluation and geophysical survey, identified Saxon and medieval material including two burials and the possible monastic boundary ditch.

Fieldwalking between circa 1971 and 1985 (mainly 1975-6?) located large amount of pottery including at least 50 sherds Ipswich ware and at least13 sherds Thetford type ware. Also 1 Early Saxon? (S1).
