Description

The monument includes a bowl barrow situated on former heathland to the north of Foxhall Road. The barrow is visible as a mound standing to a height of approximately 1.9m and covering an area with a maximum diameter of 28m. In the eastern side of the mound is a broad, shallow depression which marks the site of an old trench, probably dug during World War II. The upcast from this forms a low bank at the edge of the mound.
