TM 13 NW BENTLEY BENTLEY HALL ROAD 4/3 Barn on opposite side 22.2.55 of road and approx 100 metres north east of Bentley Hall

Barn. Early C16. Timber framed, red brick nogging infill to long walls. Diapered red and black brick gabled returns with parapet verges and moulded brick finials, roundels to apices, one blocked. A C19 lean-to has been built against the north wall and several low gabled ranges abut the south wall, these not listable. Of 15 bays, with jowled storey posts, arched braces to upper tie beams, hanging knees to lower tie beams. Serpentine wall braces. Halved and bridled top plate scarfs. Double side purlin roof.
