LAYHAM POTTS LANE 1. 5377 Deaves Farmhouse TM 04 SW 42/701 II Originally a mediaeval hall house of 2 bays with a cross entry and 2 service rooms. A timber framed and plastered building with a tiled roof and a heavy external chimney stack with tabled offsets at the west end. The front was probably formerly jettied but altered in the C18. Two storeys. Two window range of 3-light leaded casements. The interior has heavy ceiling beams. Listing NGR: TM0086241524
