Description
An archaeological topographic survey was undertaken by the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England of the Norman Motte and bailey caste at Eye. This was undertaken to establish the relationship between the surviving fragments of curtain wall and the side of the motte, and to record the immediately associated earthworks.
