Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on footings prior to the construction of a bungalow. The trenches had been machine excavated to a depth of 0.8m revealing the composition of the soil in the exposed sections. The topsoil measured some 0.35m thick and sealed off a further 0.45m of subsoil. No finds or features of archaeological interest were identified (S1).
