Description
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in advance of the construction of office buildings and associated parking. Twelve trenches were excavated over the plot and, where possible, these were stripped to the level of the natural subsoil. 450m of trnech, 2m wide, was excavated to a depth of between 0.1-0.4m. Substantial modern disturbance was encountered throughout all the trenches masking any potential archaeology. No finds or features were seen in the evaluation.
