Description
Systematic fieldwalking was undertaken on the site of several rectangular enclosures and ring ditches, identified from aerial photography, revealing a high concentration of prehistoric flint, broadly corresponding with the known cropmarks. No Roman pottery was recovered, and only a small amount of medieval pottery, indicating no later occupation.
