Description
Archaeological evaluation by trial trenching was carried out in advance of the construction of a new house and garage. The evaluation revealed a natural soil profile of colluvial deposits over glacio-fluvial sand and gravel. No archaeological deposits or features were found and no artefacts were recovered. One trench measuring 1.8m x 10m was excavated up to a depth of 1.2m, and was located within the footprint of the proposed house (S1).
