Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out on land at Warren Wood in Center Parcs Holiday Village, Elveden on the 16th June 2011 in an area of cleared woodland, prior to development. Two evaluation trenches were excavated, to a depth of 0.14-0.26m. Trench 1 was 13.4m long in total and 1.8m wide and was northwest/southeast aligned. Trench 2 was aligned from north to south and measured 15.2m long and 1.8m wide. No features or finds were recovered and no environmental samples were taken.
