Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to the construction of an extension to Chevington Hall. Three trenches were excavated by mechanical excavator. A total area of 36.5 sq.m was opened and in each of the trenches the medieval archaeological horizon was c.60m below the present ground surface (S1).
