Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to the development of the site. The evaluation originally was to consist of 12 trenches but two areas of the site were not available for trenching due to the presence of trees and a large spoil heap; for this reason one trench was dropped from the original plan. The site proved to have been subject to considerable truncation and modern disturbance, except for a few pockets predominantly around the margins of the site. The only find was a single worked flint found in the spoil of trench 2 (S1).
