Description

Evaluation trenching for a small residential development to the south of the moat at Church Farm revealed one large pit of post medieval date. Palaeoenvironmental sampling of this feature and the general lack of stray finds from the evaluation suggests that this site lay at some distance from any areas of more intense past activity.
