Description
Nine trial trenches were excavated across an area of 5131m² on land off Church Lane, Barton Mills. The evaluation was carried out between the 4th and 5th of April 2013 and was conducted as a condition for planning application F/2012/0544/FUL. The evaluation trench profiles consisted of a uniform topsoil (0001) with subsoil (0002) being present in six of the trenches.
