Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to a proposed development of the site. A total of twenty five trenches were excavated. Twenty of the trenches measured 30m long by 1.8m wide with the remainder measuring 20m by 1.8m. The maximum depth of these trenches was c.0.5m. No features, deposits or finds of archaeological potential were identified. The soil profiles showed little disturbance, modification or truncation except some recent plough scarring.
