PROJECT DETAILS Brent Eleigh, Millstone, Brent Mill Drive (BTE 034, TL 9436 4782) evaluation trenching for a proposed single dwelling development on land between The Street and a tributary stream of the River Brett revealed a substantial depth of subsoil over an alluvial deposit. No archaeological features were revealed and the only finds of any age were occasional abraded fragments of earlier Post medieval brick within the subsoil.
