Description
An archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out on land at Lanwades Park. A total of twelve trenches were excavated measuring between 30m and 50m long and 1.8m wide. The trenches were excavated to a maximum depth of 1.20m before encountering the natural subsoil. A silt hollow of unknown date was encountered although this was likely geological in origins. No archaeological features or finds were identified.
