Description
Evaluation was carried out ahead of the erection of six technology starter units. 14 trenches were excavated to a depth of 0.4m-0.6m deep with 0.2m-0.3m of topsoil above 0.15m-0.35m of mid brown sandy subsoil. The glaciofluvial deposit proved to be largely pale brown silty sand with flints and iron staining and panning indicative of free draining natural material (S1).
