Description
An archaeological watching brief was conducted on groundworks associated with the Nacton S101a Sewerage Scheme. The first pumping station was stripped of its topsoil for 0.15m and revealed no finds or features. The second pumping station was stripped and revealed a single pit. Despite assurances that they would be contacted, the monitoring archaeologists were not notified when the length of pipe was laid and therefore it was not monitored.
