Description
An archaeological watching brief was conducted during the construction of a pumping station at Forward Green. The topsoil was stripped to a depth of 0.35m. A number of trial holes were dug in order to identify services along the eastern edge of the site. The excavation of the wet well was not monitored although it appears no archaeological remains were present in the area. The only finds were a piece of burnt flint and some post medieval finds.
